Disney expects to hire 800 people for Aulani by the time the Hawaiian resort opens Aug 29. Approximately 2,400 of the 5,900 job seekers at a recent Hawaiian job fest participated in sessions held by Disney highlighting their hiring process and what kind of employee the company is seeking. Disney recruiter Lianne Maeda told the paper, “We hope to do most of the hiring locally.”
