The Birmingham News reports actor Glenn Shadix who voiced the Mayor in Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” has died at the age of 58. Shadix was a frequent guest for Disneyland’s events celebrating the opening of Haunted Mansion Holiday for the season. At those events he shared that Burton invited him to be the Halloweentown mayor in the midst of boisterous pool party.
