Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort offer hundreds of delicious food options and soon they will have even more. Starting next month, Walt Disney World will offer several new plant-based dishes, with Disneyland not far behind, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
- Walt Disney World will serve up these new dishes beginning October 1 with offerings at quick service locations and October 3 at table service locations.
- All of these new dishes will be made from plant-based ingredients like vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes and will be made without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey.
- Walt Disney World will offer more than 400 plant-based dishes across the parks and resort hotels. Some of these new dishes will include:
- Steamed Asian Dumplings from Le Cellier at Epcot – Plant-based meat dumplings, served with bok choy, Chinese long beans, red peppers and radish in an Asian broth.
- Shiriki Noodle Salad from Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom – Noodles, edamame beans, mushrooms, green mango and cucumber, tossed with a sweet chili sauce.
- Felucian Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Plant-based “kefta,” herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish and pita.
- Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl from Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Crispy tofu, seasoned with chili-spice and topped with a crunchy vegetable slaw, boba balls and your choice of base and sauce.
- Plant-Based Cashew Cheesecake from California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – One of many plant-based desserts available at Walt Disney World Resort.
- In addition to the new dishes, Disney Parks will also debut a new plant-based menu icon, making it easier to find these new dishes.
- New dishes and the plant-based icon will debut in Disneyland Resort in Spring 2020.
