The Los Angeles Times reports recent meetings between Joe Roth and Disney Studios’ new production president Sean Bailey are rumored to have put a “Wizard of Oz” prequel on a development fast track. The prequel focuses on the wizard’s life before Oz with Robert Downey Jr interested in the role of the wizard.
