ABC’s “Modern Family” received a Peabody Award because it “reinvents the situation comedy” and ABC “World News Tonight” anchor Diane Sawyer will receive an award for “A Hidden America: Children of the Mountains,” a documentary shot in Appalachia at the May 17th ceremony.
