Olive trees have been a part of the Italian landscape as far back as around 1000 BC. Italy's Apulia region located on the nation's southeast coast is home to one-third of all Italy's olive trees.

The landscape of the American Adventure Showcase is the most formal of those around the Lagoon. The gardens feature native and exotic plants authentic to the period. The patriotic colors of red, white and blue are featured. The American Adventure will host The Highwaymen Artists from April 20 - 22.

Giant topiary flowers decorate the American Gardens Theatre where bands from the '60's and '70's such as Paul Revere and the Raiders, Tony Orlando and The Tokens play nightly.
