April 4 is declared "Permission to Play Day" in celebration of the official dedication ceremony for Aquatica.

There is a legend that at one time all the oceans and seas were completely still much like waters here at Cutback Cove. But all of that changed when children began to inhabit the world and play on their shores. As they played, they laughed and that laughter drifted across the ocean and created ripples.

And the more they played, the more they laughed the more ripples were created. And the oceans seemed to rise up as if they were saying "Hey I want to play with you too" Well today my friends you can play with the ocean here at Aquatica. Now ladies and gentleman, boys and girls we invite you to lift your voices and your laughter and have some fun here today as the seas rise here at Aquatica.
