The performance stops feature a clip of Walt Disney's opening day speech, "To All Who Come to This Happy Place... Welcome" And the Phil Collins' tune "Welcome" from Disney's Brother Bear is performed.

The Gateway to Dreams float features Tinker Bell who welcomes everyone and leads off the procession with a generous sprinkling of pixie dust. As this float glides along the parade route a variety of Disney classics including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo and You Can Fly are woven together along with the parade theme Welcome.
