DVDs, Three dollar beanies, the Disney Wonder and the Dinosaur trailer, all in all it's been a good week for Disney fans. In case you missed some of it ...
Disney has finally decided to release some of its classic animations on DVD. First up will be Pinocchio in October. Read the other titles and more in the Disney Press Release.
The Disney Stores and theme parks have reduced their prices on many of their mini bean bags to only $3.
The Disney Wonder had it's maiden voyage last week, and all indications are it was a big success. Click here for more from the Orlando Sentinel.
The trailer for Dinosaur, next year's computer generated animated release, was released on the Internet last week. Click here for more information from Ain't It Cool News.
It's another busy week coming up on LaughingPlace.com...
Because there's more to Disney than the theme parks, this week's Trivia Contest focuses on Disney in movies, television and stage. The theme of this week's contest is "The Music of Disney". We've also got the usual Online Poll, this week asking about Disney and DVDs. And the Sites of the Week featuring Walt Disney World history sites.
We apologize that one of our promised features last week didn't quite make it. But we promise, this week Rebekah will bring you her feature on the dedication of Walt Disney's Barn at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. This week we'll also present a book review on a Walt Disney book you probably haven't heard of. And who knows what other surprises may come?
Congratulations to the winner of trivia contest #3. EFerret was one of only two players to get all the questions correct, and she did it first!
As always, please keep your Feedback coming. We really, really appreciate hearing from all of you. Your input into improving the site is always welcome, and many suggestions have already been implemented.
