The Fabulous Disney Babe

DJ, Tommy and I did the Package C, which included the Early Demise dinner, preview of the attraction and the discussion. I met the rest of my party outside the Blue Bayou at about five, and there was all ready a queue - and quite a long one - it went all the way back to the sketch artists! I was pleased to see that they were doing assigned tables again - it really makes things easier. The pink card in my packet read:
"Early Demise" Thursday,
October 3, 2001 * 5:30 PM
The Blue Bayou, Disneyland® Resort,
Table Number: 14

It had the drawing of Jack holding the mansion in his hand on the top. Martha Blanding let us in, and Tony Garrison greeted us as we entered.
Some of our friends from Special Events Merchandise were there as well: Cathy Jensen was helping people find their tables, and Michelle and KC stood nearby, with table numbers illuminated - it was very dark. The huge backdrop that was there last year was gone, but there were some new touches - luminaria hung over some of the Japanese lanterns, with cutouts of scary and silly faces on them, and Dio de los Muertos skeletons hung from the tree. We had a centerpiece on each table of a pumpkin with a star carved out of it, decorated with greenery and snowflake ornaments.
