Disneyland Update - February 1, 2000
As mentioned last week, we've updated our Disneyland hours, entertainment and rehab schedules through April. Not all showtimes have been put in yet but you will be able to see which shows are scheduled for which days. Click for the February, March or April schedule. As of now, both the 45th Anniversary Parade "45 Years of Magic" and the new fireworks show "Believe ... There's Magic in the Stars" are scheduled to officially debut on February 18, 2000 . Disneyland parades often "soft-open" in the few days leading up the official opening, so keep your eyes open.

New Smoking Policy
Effective January 30th, Disneyland allows smoking in designated areas only. Those
areas are:
- Outside the Main Gate
- The upper level of the Plaza Pavilion
- New Orleans Square train exit area
- Big Thunder Trail (at the former exit of Festival of Fools)
Signs (like the one shown below) greet guests as they approach the main entrance. Each area has a sign near by pointing the way and another sign in the area signifying where the area actually is. The Disneyland Today Smoking section has also been reworded to indicate the new policy and cigarette logos are now on the map indicating the location of the designated areas.
The sign reads: No Smoking Please. For the comfort and safety of all our guests,
smoking is not permitted at Disneyland Park except in designated areas. Please refrain
from smoking while waiting for the Disneyland Tram. Thank you for your cooperation.
