This year, Toon Talk is changing things up a bit. Instead of a straight-up top ten list as in years past, this year we�re handed out the first ever Toon Talk Awards, a.k.a. the �Toonies�. Yup, they�re just like the Tonys, except less, well, tony.
So roll out the red carpet, fire up the spotlights and strike up the band for �

Unlike the Academy Awards, we�re going to start out with the big guns �

Pixar continues its run of the bank with yet another crowd-pleasing charmer, complete with gorgeous animation, winning characters and the best reviews of the year for any film, live action or animated. An instant classic.
On the DVD front, three titles in particular led the pack this year �

The jazzy Jungle Book finally got the Platinum treatment it deserves, while the sheer number of home runs on Pixar�s first shorts compilation made that disc a must-have. And for pure historical value, the Oswald set was worth every lucky penny.
The big screen wasn�t the only place where you could find high quality Disney entertainment this year --

Not resting on their well-rewarded laurels, Kenny Ortega and the makers of HSM2 delivered what nobody really expected them to: a sequel better then the original. Special kudos to the kids, especially the scene-stealing Ashley Tisdale as the scheming Sharpay.
