Steps in Time and even more Crafts!
We enjoyed Steps in Time high spirited dancing (especially the finale) and Elaine and I
suffered through the rather clumsy framing story. The kids thought it was all great. It
was time to meet Doobie and Rebekah so we began walking to the Grand Californian. Of
course, crossing through Condor Flats we discovered another craft table. This one was to
make your own paper airplane. We watched for a minute, but doing the craft would have to
wait for another day.
A Must Do Every Time You Pass Soarin'
The Grand Californian and The Storyteller
The Grand Californian is an AMAZING hotel. It is the best example of theming Ive
ever seen. You actually feel like youre in a hotel somewhere in the Sierras. We
walked around the lobby for awhile and listened to the end of a story by the fireplace. We
walked out to the Storyteller, and met Doobie, Rebekah, and Michelle. We had a great time
discussing all things Disney. The kids enjoyed the decor of the restaurant and the buffet
provided plenty of things for them to eat. (Only $10.00 for the kids buffet!)
Doobie and Rebekah had to get back to the site, and Susie wanted to go back to the hotel.
Sam wanted to see Paradise Pier.
