Jon Jerde accepts his Lifetime Achievement award as past recipients Marty Sklar, Vice Chairman and Principal Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering; Harrison "Buzz" Price, President of the Harrison Price Company; and Tony Baxter look on. Jerde's work has been astounding people all over the world, focusing on multi-use communal places designed for large anonymous crowds. When I call him a genius, I do not use the word lightly. The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, Sam Goody at Universal City Walk are two of his nearby projects.
