  • Show Me the Mushing: An obvious joke that surprisingly didn’t make the final cut.
  • Ted Offers Jack a Deal: A cabin scene between Ted and Jack that was later restaged in the cave.
  • You’re Looking Much Whiter and New Caps: Two brief comedy scenes set in Ted’s Miami dental office.

  • Girls at the Beach: After Ted finds out he’s adopted, he causes a fender bender and scares off some bathing beauties.
  • Rush Hour: Upon Ted’s arrival in Tolketna, he first encounters the eXtreme sporters seen later in the bar.

  • White guy soul singer Michael Bolton appears in a self-parodying cameo. Bolton sang the pop version of “Go the Distance” in Hercules.
  • James Coburn’s long career includes the Disney television series The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca and the voice of Waternoose in Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.
  • Cuba Gooding, Jr. starred as real-life hero Dorie Miller in Touchstone’s Pearl Harbor and is lending his voice to the upcoming Disney animated musical Sweating Bullets.
  • Five, yes, five writers contributed to the script of Snow Dogs, including Jim Kouf (Operation Dumbo Drop) and Tommy Swerdlow & Michael Goldberg (Cool Runnings).
  • Theme park plug: Listen up for a clever reference to a Disney theme park near the end of the film.
