Through the entire exhibit guests learn that there are layers of talent that come together to create any story, and that this talent feeds and nurtures other talent that may find inspiration there. That a story told well in 1967 in one medium by a group of dedicated artists and craftspeople can be retold decades later in another media by other artists. We also learn that Pirates was the last attraction directly supervised by Walt Disney. And is, to a large extent, a “living�? testament to his ability to put the right people in the right place at the right time to tell the right story and create the right attraction. Pirates of the Caribbean is the quintessential Disney attraction, the ride against which all others are measured. Yo Ho - A Pirate’s Life for Me runs through September 7, 2003.

The date has been released for a wonderful event to be held at Disneyland. Enjoy a swashbuckling adventure at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl Live Action Film Sneak Preview Event, Sunday, June 29, 2003. At press time Walt Disney Event Services did not have additional information regarding this event, but you can check www.disneygallery.com to find additional and updates, details and ticket sale information. There is also a new event club e-mail newsletter you can join. If half of the rumors floating around the park are true, this is going to be a great evening’s entertainment.
