Rosie Espinosa of Rosie's Garage receives the $10,000 check

Rosie, I just wanted to say congratulations again for all the wonderful, wonderful work you've done for this community. And we have a special surprise for you today. Thank you for bringing your children with you and from all of your friends at Chevron, here is a $10,000 check to help continue.with your program.

Rosie Espinosa: Oh my God. the parents are all over there going "aaahhhh". Oh my gosh, this is just awesome. I don't even know where to begin. But I know for a fact Tinker Bell isn't the only one that can fly because the kids have been airborne for a couple of days over the anticipation of this day. And I also have been airborne but with my weight it's only been a few millimeters off the ground. I'd like to personally thank Chevron and Mr. Santana Gonzales because he saw our program and he said we have to include her, Rosie's kids, in this event, so we are forever grateful to them. They are truly the guardians of our children. And I'd like to thank Disneyland and their staff, especially Karen Sunshine because she took such care and understanding in working with us. It was just wonderful to have here there [applause].

Once the kids heard about this and that they were invited too, it spread faster than fire on dry brush in our neighborhood. And it was just a blessing (???) throughout all of our three neighborhoods. And for once in their lives the kids felt they were so lucky to live in these low income neighborhoods. So I'm forever grateful to Chevron and Disney for that. You know, we in the neighborhood as volunteers and parents do what we can to make sure that the surroundings are safe for these kids and we provide the educational assistance, the tutors, the computers, the encyclopedias, that they need to get their homework done on a daily basis and sometimes we reward them, but today was a big payday for them. This was like hitting the lottery for them, they are truly excited. All I can say is things like this don't come often and we know that Chevron and Disney have truly - are truly the masters of memorable moments for our children. The imprint that you guys have left in their hearts today will be lasting forever and every time they go back and relive their youth this is one of the things that they will relive over and again and forever, and that was our mission at Rosie's Garage - to insure that these children in the low income neighborhoods would have memorable imprints. That they would want to go back and remember them and live them forever and again. So thank you so very much for this event.

Cynthia Harriss: Thank you Rosie, that's very inspiring. Well speaking of kids I think I hear them now, Pat.

Pat Woertz: I think you're' right, are they coming? It must be the kids from Rosie's Garage. Here they come.

Cynthia Harriss: I think it's time now for us to have the grand reopening of Autopia.
