Morgan "Bill" Evans is the original Disneyland landscaper. He wrote a book in 1965 with descriptions and photographs of his handiwork at Disneyland entitled Disney World of Flowers. Bill’s work and influence are on display in all of the Disney parks worldwide. Bill saved many trees that were endangered by the construction of nearby Highway 5 by removing them and using them at Disneyland; as a bonus, it also saved Walt a lot of landscaping money. The Jungle Cruise became the home of one of Bill’s most original landscaping solutions, when he planted some of the resident orange trees upside-down to create exotic "African" trees. Bill has a window on Main Street, USA, and was named a Disney Legend in 1992.

Wilson "Bill" Martin was an art director and project designer on numerous attractions including the Disneyland Fantasyland dark rides, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Monorail, Nature’s Wonderland, Submarine Voyage and Pirates of the Caribbean, among others. Walt tasked him, before Disneyland was built, to visit and evaluate amusement parks to gather information on what worked and what didn’t so that some of the best practices could be incorporated into Disneyland. He also served as a vice president of WED Enterprises. Bill has a window on Main Street, USA, and was named a Disney Legend in 1994.

Fred Joerger is one of the original Imagineering model makers, along with Harriet Burns and Wathel Rogers. He worked on models for Sleeping Beauty Castle, all of Adventureland and many other attractions. He built some of the miniatures for Storybook Land Canal Boats. He designed Disneyland’s waterways (all that "dark water" is the same body of water), and is also known for his ability to make very realistic rockwork, as seen at Disneyland in Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Fred has a window on Main Street, USA, and was named a Disney Legend in 2001.

Sam McKim was involved with the early design of Disneyland, and has worked on attractions throughout Disneyland. He helped develop the overall look of such lands as Frontierland, Main Street, USA and Fantasyland. Some of the attractions he worked on include: Slue Foot Sue's Golden Horseshoe, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, it's a small world, Monorail, Carousel of Progress, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, The Hall of Presidents, Universe of Energy and early concept designs for Disney-MGM Studios. Sam is the artist who created the first Disneyland souvenir map in 1958; all subsequent souvenir maps have been based on Sam’s designs, so Sam may be the most widely-collected Disney artist. Sam was named a Disney Legend in 1996.
