Question: Have there been any changes to attractions in response to lawsuit settlements?

Pressler: We go through and we look at all of those as learnings ... we are constantly ... any given day you go to our parks - and Greg’s going to take you through a bit of a tour - we’re constantly looking for ways to drive improvement. And every single day there’s improvements whether it be in our systems, in our approaches, in our training - so its an ongoing process. And we’re pretty proud that we think that we are leader in the industry and we’ll continue to take that leadership role.

Question: What are some of the changes that your visitors will note?

Greg Hale: I think you’ll see as we go through today we’ve installed over 10,000 signs to help educate our guests about choices they can make to have their safe experience in our park and we put in safety gates and markings of where guests are required to wait before they board a ride. And there’re numerous design features that were, as Paul said constantly, improving our processes and our communication with the guests so I think you’ll see that today when we take you on a short tour.

Question: How will training be different for employees today as it was a month or two months ago?

Hale: Once again we have an ongoing process improvement program and one of the things that we’re doing is we’re sharing best practices across our operations all around the world. So we’re constantly learning better ways to operate attractions from our experts with over 50 years - almost 50 years experience operating theme parks. We have some fantastic experts in operations so as soon as we learn a better way to operate we train all of our employees to that. We hold over 30,000 training session a year just keeping our employees up to date with the latest techniques and processes for operating our attractions.

Question: Are there any changes to the Indiana Jones attraction?

Pressler: No, there are no changes contemplated right now.

Hale: Other than the ongoing programs we have for signage and other programs that we’re doing at all of our attractions across the board.

Question: And when will these safety measures in place?

Pressler: Its really an ongoing process that we go through it. Today it's a lot about educational process and awareness of what we are doing but behind the scenes there are hundreds of engineers, designers that Greg works with every single day to look at ways for us to constantly improve all of the criteria we use for safety all around the parks.

Question: We’ve seen Splash Mountain go from group seats to single seats. Does that have to do with safety?

Hale: Again we are always revising the design of our attractions and so yes. Actually it does. We've got individual seating now where guests are seated separately from each other. It provides a better place for them to hold on and be seated without being against other guests. So we’re constantly refining the design as well as the operation of all of our attractions as we learn better ways to operate.

Question: Can you talk about any of the additional security measures that have been put in place since 9/11?

Pressler: Needless to say its been a huge focus for us. There’re a variety of measures that are obvious to our guests. As you walk in through the front gate you can see that we are doing bag checks. There’s a much greater, heightened awareness of both our security officers as well as local law enforcement and of course there are a variety of measure that we are doing behind the scenes to ensure that we’re providing a safe environment for our guests.
