Among the villains you will encounter are Maleficent (who seems to be the leader of the Disney villains), Jafar, the Evil Genie, Ursula, Clayton, Oogie Boogie, Lock, Shock and Barrel, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, the Crocodile, Hades, the Queen of Hearts, and Chernabog.
No jokin'! You'll have to defeat Oogie Boogie in his Halloween Town lair.

Many of the Disney characters will feature the original voice talents heard in their films and short features. The dizzying list includes: Queen Minnie, the noblewoman Daisy Duck, King Mickey's faithful dog Pluto, Aladdin, the Genie, the Flying Carpet, Sebastian, Tarzan, Jane, Jack Skellington, Zero, Sally, Professor Finklestein, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Pinocchio, Gepetto, Jiminy Cricket, Hercules, Phil, Alice, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Beast, Chip and Dale, Bambi, Dumbo, Mushu, and Simba. The last four listed are among characters Sora can call up through Summon Magic.

Fans of Final Fantasy will also be surprised by a few familiar faces. Among those making cameo appearances are Cid, Moogle, Cloud, Selphie, Wakka, Tidus, Yuffie, and Squall.
This is only natural, since many on the same creative team that has worked on Final Fantasy has been intimately involved in Kingdom Hearts. Director and Character Designer Tetsuya Nomura is a legend in the gaming industry. Among his past credits are Final Fantasy VII and VIII, Parasite Eve 1 and 2, and The Bouncer. Co-producer Yoshinori Kitase brought the Final Fantasy series to a new level with Final Fantasy VII for the original PlayStation® console. Others in the creative team include: Jun Akiyama, Event Director; Takeshi Endo, Stage Planning Director; Akira Fujii, Technical Art Director; Tatsuya Kando, Animation Director; Yuichi Kanemori, Battle Director; Tomohiro Kayano, Character Model Director; and Yoko Shimomura, Composer.
