A hearse is parked directly across from the entrance. Madam Leota is perched on the back. From the depths of her crystal ball she bids you welcome to Haunted Mansion Hollywood.

The tent is a large cavernous structure. The many eye-popping sets and exhibits seem to pull you in every direction at once. I decided to begin with the crypt set on the right. As I approached the “black coffin with no name,�? it began to move. The lid jumped up and down as skeletal hands tried to push it open from within. It seemed like an enhanced version of the coffin in the Disneyland attraction.
