From July 1st through 7th, Star Light Festival was carried out which is based on an old Chinese legend. People wrote their wishes on special wishing cards which was Mickey Mouse-shaped this year and suspended on the special rack located at the center of the World Bazaar. Mickey and Minnie appeared for a short greeting parade riding on a Jinriki-sha which is small man power coach.

As usual during the summer the Yukata Campaign is being carrying out from July 1st through August 31st 2007. Guests who visit the Parks wearing a yukata (Japanese summer casual kimono) and who make a purchase at one of the shops will receive an original sash accessory! So you can see many Yukata-wearing guests in the Parks.

On July 20th, the summer events, reopening of Pirates of the Caribbean (featuring Captain Barbossa and numerous Jack Sparrows much like the Walt Disney World version), Cool the Heat, Goofy's Cool Panic and Wet & Wild Pirate Night commenced at Tokyo Disneyland. On the other hand, Bon Fire Dance and Chip 'n Dale's Cool Service has started at Tokyo DisneySea.
