Toon Talk: The 2007 Toon Talk Awards

Family entertainment is no longer strictly Disneys game, thus
In the year that brought the final volume of the saga to bookstores and headline-making revelations from author J.K. Rowling, the latest film adaptation was none to shabby either. Credit goes to director David Yates for helming the best in the series so far.
And finally, what was the DVD bonus goodie that was worth the purchase price alone?
Remy and Emile, stars of this years movie of the year, host an irreverent, hilarious and even educational look at the genus Rattus. With its mix of old and new school animation, this short single-handedly made the otherwise lackluster Ratatouille DVD worth owning.
And lets not forget
Honorable Mentions:
Michael Giacchino for his Parisian music hall-influenced score for Ratatouille; the special effects team behind Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End; whoever thought to put that nifty retro Disneyland ticket booklet in with Disneyland: Secrets, Stories and Magic.
