The holidays are literally everywhere you look at Walt Disney World. From the moment you arrive on property you'll notice the decorations. It would be impossible to list everything to look for, so we've just tried to mention some of the things to look for in the major locations. But don't stop there. Wherever you decide to go you're sure to to see decorations appropriate for the location.

Walt Disney World 2005 Pictures and Videos
The Magic
Kingdom
Christmas can be found all over the Magic Kingdom with traditional
decorations on Main Street and themed festivities elsewhere. Highlights at the
include:

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party: Selected nights November 27 - December 20th

The Country Bears Christmas Special (replacing the regular Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland)

Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season: A special version of Wishes performing during each Very Merry Christmas Party and during regular park hours on selected nights.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade: Performs during each Very Merry Christmas Party and a daytime version on selected day.
Epcot
Celebration the holidays around the world is the focus at Epcot. The
festivities run November 25 - December 30th. Highlights include:

The Candlelight Processional: A spiritual Christmas tradition. November 25 - December 30th.

Holidays Around the World with storytellers in World Showcase detailing the adventures of Pere Noel in France, La Befana in Italy and other legends aruond the world. Kwanzaa and Hanukkah are also observed.

Nightly Tree Lighting at 6p with a light bridge over the World Showcase Plaza with synchronized lights set to music.

A special holiday ending to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth

Santa's Gingerbread House: A life-sized structure made of gingerbread, cookies and icing serving cookies and beverages in the American Adventure Pavilion

Meet Santa at the American Pavilion
Disney-MGM Studios
The entire park is decorated for the season with a Tinsel Town flaire. But
it's all just a set up for the biggest spectacle of them all...

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights: For the second year this amazing display of Christmas lights decorates the backlot and Streets of America. It may even snow. Displays November 14 - January 8.

The Hollywood Holly-Day Parade: Disney characters, festively dressed parade cars and more in a daily Christmas parade.

A 4-foot version of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at the Brown Derby Restaurant made entirely of gingerbread, icing and sugar.
Animal
Kingdom
Like the Christmas Tree in front of the park, the holiday decorations at
Animal Kingdom are unique. Highlights at Animal Kingdom include:

Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade: A holiday parade with the rhythm you've become accustomed to at Animal Kingdom

Much of the park is decorated for the season. Camp Minnie-Mickey is a highlight where Disney characters in their holiday best. They've also each decorated their own Christmas Tree. Christmas Carolers can be found there as well.
Downtown Disney
The Christmas spirit extends to Downtown Disney as well. And don't forget - it's
free!

Festival of the Seasons: Displays showing how different parts of the world celebrate during this time of the year. November 25 - December 25.

Santa Claus will be at Santa's Chalet near the World of Disney Nov 19-24 from 5-10p and November 25-Dec 24 from Noon to 10p.

Bring your cats and dogs to have a picture with Santa December 3-18.
The Resorts
Each of the Disney resorts is dressed up as well. Among the highlights are:

A 16-foot-tall gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian where candy and cookies can be purchased

A life-size gingerbread carousel at the Beach Club Resort

A miniature train races around a sugary mountain and village at the Yacht Club Resort

A holiday toy corner at the Boardwalk Resort featuring toys made by the Disney World pastry chefs and a Christmas tree decorated with cookie ornaments.

A holiday toy shop made of sugar and chocolate on the 4th floor concourse of the Contemporary Resort.

Each resort has a Christmas tree uniquely themed to it

The residents at Fort Wilderness are known for decorating their trailers and RVs this time of year
