Rosie O'Donnell announced that she will be leaving the view in June after she and ABC could not agree on a new contract. The split seems amicable which is a releif after the debacle with Star Jones last year. She has been good for ratings which I enjoy as a Disney shareholder, but she has also been a source of controversy. As a TWDC fan, I grew tired of Rosie being the story even when she wasn't. It will be interesting to see who takes her spot. Will it be another polarizing figure like Rosie? Or will it be a more gentile smiling face like Meredith? The decision might reveal a lot about the mentality at ABC Daytime
