Remember when the Festival of the Lion King theater was open-air? When the lead singer starred in those Nahtazu commercials? When Disney sold Tumble Monkey dolls outside the theater?
Our dog chewed the head off of one of those.
Anyway, with the show moving to a new theater soon, I thought you might like to see some photos I have of the performance in its current spot. I say “photos I have” because I didn’t take these. My teenage daughter did, and I think some of them are pretty great. I especially like her shots of the baton twirler and of Timon kissing a young girl (the last shot in the series.)
By the way, HER favorite shot is the one of the bird taking flight, holding onto her mate’s hands. I know she took a bunch of that one to get what she wanted.
