Fantasyland is inching closer to being finished. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction is slowly, painstakingly taking shape, while Princess Fairytale Hall gets its new marquee.
Workers this summer have scrambled over the Mine Train’s rounded mountaintop like ants, nearly broiling in the Florida heat. Guests stroll along walkways just a few feet from the welding and hammering and painting. I can imagine a flurry of activity inside the mountain, getting everything ready for the grand opening next year.
It’s quieter at Princess Fairytale Hall, with little evidence of workers on the outside of the building. This meet-and-greet attraction is scheduled to open on September 18th.
My wife Julie took the following photos the first week in September.
