Captain America has arrived in Tomorrowland at Disneyland. The original Avenger joins Thor and Stark Industries at the Innoventions building. Guests will be able to greet and take photographs with Captain America and see some of his familiar armory.
A preview was held prior to the official opening of the Captain America: The Living Legend and Symbol of Courage exhibit, which is scheduled for Friday, March 7. Guests arriving will find that the Captain will be greeting guests next to the Iron Man Tech display, on the opposite side of the Thor museum exhibit and Asgard throne room.
Entering the relatively short queue, admirers of the Captain will find a time-line wall display, and a life-sized lenticular image that graphically portrays Steve Roger’s amazing transformation from scrawny recruit to ideal American fighting man. In addition, there are two displays, one of a variety of shields, and the other of Captain America’s World War II era uniform.
At the end of the line is a private meeting location, with Disneyland photographers who will take photos with your camera, as well as official PhotoPass cameras. During the preview, mini-posters were handed out, advertising the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
