Ever been stuck inside on a rainy day? Have you ever had urge to make a cute craft for a upcoming Holiday? Remember the time you were looking to make a cute treat for your family movie night?
Look no further! Disney Interactive has created a new site, Disney Family (http://family.disney.com) sponsored by Smucker¹s® Uncrustables® Sandwiches, and the second I pulled it up, I knew I’d be a frequent visitor. It has a very modern, easy to use interface that had me bookmarking page after page. At the top of the webpage, you instantly have access to thousands of crafts, recipes, and activities. Additionally, they also have themes to fit the season, like Summer and Back to School.
Along with offering treats and sweet recipes, they also have many ideas for healthy snacks and fun ways to present them. Who wouldn’t think twice about eating Snow White’s fruit bouquet, or Belle’s Enchanted Breakfast Porridge? Something else I particularly enjoyed is the craft section, full of ideas of things to do with your kids, or to give them the materials and let them create freely with the project (depending on age).
I couldn’t resist, I had to try out a couple of these ideas for myself. Summer is drawing to a close and it’s time to get back to school. The first thing that caught my eye when I clicked over on the Back To School tab, was the Mickey Mouse bookmarks. What a fantastic idea to send with you little ones to give them a little bit of Disney in their day! Below is my result.
With all the consuming news surrounding Star Wars, when I saw this treat, I absolutely had to try out the Yoda Green Sherbet Sundae. Any fan of Star Wars will totally appreciate this little guy. Below is my turnout.
This is a fantastic website that absolutely gets two thumbs up! I’ll certainly be checking up on their featured crafts, recipes and activities found at the bottom of the homepage quite frequently. I had a great time making and sharing my crafts and treats with loved ones and seeing their enjoyment.
