Talking of 2015, the Resort has already released details for it’s entertainment plans with several changes. Tokyo DisneySea will for the first time celebrate Easter with a new Harbor show. Sadly this will mean that the event “Spring Voyage” will not be returning next year. New day-time harbor shows are also planned for Halloween and Christmas. Over at Tokyo Disneyland the Jungle Cruise has reopened after a 6 month refurbishment under the new name Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions. The attraction has added several new effects, script and a musical score. Overall the changes have really helped to refresh this classic attraction. All the scenes we love are still part of the Jungle Cruise. The music plays a big part in the new adventure and captures the sense of the moment. Such as forbidding music when we enter the Hippo Pool. Perhaps the biggest change is the Temple scene where projections appear along the temple walls.
Also new at the Park this year is Once Upon A Time which is the nightly Castle projection show. To get central located seats you may attempt the lottery once a day. We were unsuccessful each time and had to view the show from a different location around the hub. Despite this we really enjoyed this show. It features a storyline of Mrs Potts reading Chip a bedtime story. And all the scenes are Fantasyland inspired. Included in the show are lasers and pyrotechnics which help to tell the story.
