Now that the Frozen Summer has passed and 2 attractions have closed to make way for “future enjoyment” lets take a walk around the Studios.
As we head into the park and down Hollywood Blvd we see a sight that has not been seen in months, the Event Stage that has been up since Spring has been removed for now.
But what is that we see off to the right? Construction walls for the next Starbucks coming next year.
With a brief look down Sunset Blvd. we see the Legends of Hollywood shop has gone Frozen, but thankfully the Tower of Terror is still there!
Heading back toward Pixar Place we have a view that may be changing very soon as Stage 1 is now closed off for “construction”, the Studio Backlot Tour has closed, and Wandering Oaken’s Frozen Funland has relocated to the previous AFI area.
Now lets take a tour of the Trading Post and Frozen Funland.
Yes this is just a expanded shop and snow play area, they put some extra effort into it and it does still feel like a small attraction. One of the added touches I really enjoyed was the addition of a projection show every 20 minutes on the back drop with a special appearance by everyones new favorite snowman Olaf.
With the magic of Frozen still alive and well at DHS we head out to check on what is coming next to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Osborn Family Spectacle of Dance Lights are being installed all around the Streets of the World area.
The next big film from Disney Big Hero 6, oddly enough this film didn’t get a sneak peak here in Florida as it did in Disneyland.
But fear not The Magic of Disney Animation area has enough to tease us till it is released in November.
With that we head out but stop to take a look at some of the Citizens of Hollywood who still work hard each and every day to bring laughs to those guest who will spend a few minutes with them!
