It’s been a while since we last gave you an update from the Tokyo Disney Resort. So we have two new articles coming up with all the highlights from this years Frozen Fantasy and Sweet Duffy seasonal events. We start with the first one today which is all about Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy at Tokyo Disneyland. Unfortunately the event has now finished and this update is a little on the late side and the Frozen gang have all ready return to Arendelle. However the Tokyo Disney Resort has already announced that Anna and Elsa will return to Japan next year, from the 12th of January to the 18th of March, 2016. So you can treat this as a preview for what to expect next year.
The press release describes Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy as an event themed to the popular Disney movie “Frozen”. Which is the countries third highest grossing film of all time. Guests are able to enjoy the winter season in a lovely world of ice and snow created by Elsa’s magical powers.
During the day Elsa, Anna and Olaf met all guests along the Parade route to the music “Let It Go” which is the main theme song to Frozen. The park was decorated for the occasion. Plus new merchandise and food offerings were made available.
For the evening entertainment, the park presented a special Frozen winter version for “Once Upon A Time” (Castle Projection Show). This has proven to be such a popular offering that it was recently announced the show will continue in its present version until the 7th of July, this year.
Completing the winter line up at Tokyo Disneyland was the special programme “Disney Princess: Welcome Little Princesses. Which offers activities for the younger guests. Including special greetings and allowing your Daughter to become a make believe Princess.
I would just like to thank Yuriko for providing the fantastic photos you see in this update. Without her hard work this wouldn’t be possible. In the next update we’ll take a look at Sweet Duffy and get you updated on some of the recent news from around the Resort.
