Long before the controversies surrounding the Tower of Terror‘s replacement, prior to the outrage regarding the suspected loss of the Rivers of America in Disneyland, and even predating the good ol’ Change.org petition, there was one Disney protest that got a ton of media attention: Save Mr. Toad.
As you probably know, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh resides in Magic Kingdom and has for several successful years now. However, before the 100 Acre Woods could come to Fantasyland, an eviction had to take place. That required one beloved (although poor driving) Toad to pack up his motorcar and head off to nowhere in particular… but not without a fight.
