The pumpkins are back on Main Street USA, which means it’s once again Halloweentime at the Disneyland Resort. This year sees returning favorites and a few spooky new surprises.
Guests will be familiar with Haunted Mansion Holiday, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and Dia de los Muertos in Frontierland. Mickey’s Halloween Party is also returning on selected nights, with a few new treats. The Headless Horseman rides through the party on his black steed, carrying a flickering jack-o-lantern. The Frightfully Fun Parade features hitchhiking ghosts, a bevy of villains, and greetings from the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington. Special Halloween Screams fireworks cap the celebration. Mickey’s Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event.
Over at Disney California Adventure the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is offering Late Check-out. During the day the hotel hosts the Silver Lake Sisters, finally making their belated appearance not in the Tip Top Room, but in the lobby for all guests to enjoy. After twilight things take a darker turn—a chance to venture beyond the fifth dimension into complete darkness. For the first time, the attraction offers a free-fall experience in the elevator shafts with all the lights out. Late Check-out will continue through January 2nd.
Of course there are also plenty of tasty treats available around the resort for this sweet time of year:
Be sure to stop by the Disneyland Resort this fall as HalloweenTime continues through October 31st.
