Disneyland Resort Update — May 2017

While the Star Wars expansion remains the single biggest project at the Disneyland Resort, there has been quite a bit of other activity in the last two months. We have already updated the reopening of Toy Story Midway Mania and the Matterhorn with FastPass. Other minor refurbishments have taken place as the resort moves toward the summer. The Summer of Heroes will kick off with the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout in the remodeled Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure while a Cars 3 preview has taken over the Bugs Life Theatre. Over at Disneyland the Rivers of America and the steam trains are nearing their reopening and lightsaber churros are the latest delicacy. Plus, a few changes are afoot at Downtown Disney.
