This past Friday, about 200 lucky Disney Parks Blog readers were lucky enough to attend the latest and greatest Meet-Up to say our goodbyes to The Great Movie Ride.

At check-in, we were given a Hollywood Walk of Fame type credential and two drink coupons and told to gather in the courtyard of the Chinese Theater a little later. Once Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks ended, guests gathered and were lead into the preshow area. There we were greeted by Disney Parks own Jennifer Fickley-Baker and Steven Miller to prepare us for what was about to happen and give a little plug for some great GMR merchandise coming August 10th to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
New Great Movie Ride products will be released late next week at Walt Disney World Resort and on the Disney Parks online store on Aug. 10!
Once the housekeeping was all in order, Jenn let us know what that tonight we would get a chance to actually walk The Great Movie Ride and encouraged us all to take as many photos and videos as we wanted. Needless to say, I did and now I present to you a photo tour of The Great Movie Ride.
