With Pixar Pier officially opening this weekend, the Games of the Boardwalk have reopened with three new games and one old favorite.
La Luna Star Catcher
Themed to the popular short “La Luna,” which played in theatres before Brave, this game replaces Goofy About Fishing. Guests can collect stars as they float by and can win some adorable prizes. Best of all, with this game, everyone’s a winner!
Wall-E Space Race
Speaking of stars, the next new game is Wall-E Space Race. Replacing Dumbo’s Bucket Brigade, this game finds guests competing to see who can reach the top first. In order to make Wall-E and Eve soar higher, guests will need to aim carefully and hit the target with their water cannons. Some of the prizes up for grabs include plush versions of Wall-E, Eve, and M-O.
Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss
While many fans may be sad to lose Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train when a bug’s land closes later this summer, they’ll be glad to know the classic character will still be hanging around (and eating) on the pier. Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss replaces Casey at the Bat and invites guests to feed their hungry caterpillar by tossing food into his mouth. Prizes here include a plush Heimlich, Flik, Francis, and of course a giant candy corn.
Bullseye Stallion Stampede
Finally, the pier does have one returning game. Since this game was already themed to the iconic Toy Story franchise, Bullseye Stallion Stampede fits in perfectly at the updated Pier. If you’ll recall, in this game, players race to be the first to cross the finish line and can make their horse gallop faster by rolling the ball into the perfect spot. Winners of this derby can claim a plush Bullseye, Woody, or a small pony of their own.
