Everyone knows about some of the great perks that come with being a Disney Cast Member — not the least of which is getting to visit the parks in your spare time. However, on a similar but even cooler note, being a Cast Member sometimes also means getting to experience upcoming attractions before anyone else. Case in point: both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Cast recently had the opportunity to try out new rides joining their respective resorts.
Disneyland Resort
As you’ve probably heard by now, this past weekend marked the grand opening of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure. But before the big day, Pixar Pier Cast Members were joined by Disneyland Resort President Josh D’Amaro for a ride on the Incredicoaster. The most popular review? “Incredible.”
Walt Disney World
Over on the East Coast, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also preparing to open a new land inspired by a classic Pixar franchise. That’s right, Toy Story Land will officially debut on June 30th and feature two new rides: Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Once again, the first to climb aboard the new coaster were resort Cast Members, who recently shared their experience in a Disney Parks Blog video:
Congratulations to both project teams on their opening of these new lands and a huge “thank you” to all the Disney Parks Cast Members who make the magic each and every day!
