The new quick service location held its grand opening ceremony this morning, including an appearance by a certain celebrity chef.
From the mind of Guy Fieri, this new concept in quick service dining fits perfectly in Disney Springs. Built in the shadow of Planet Hollywood, Chicken Guy adds, in my opinion, something that has been missing in Disney Springs – an inexpensive grab and go.
Now, most of the time “inexpensive” and “grab and go” together usually mean not good, but that is not the case with Chicken Guy! as everything I have had there hits the spot perfectly. From the one-of-a-kind all-natural fresh chicken tenders to the Mac Daddy Mac ‘n’ Cheese each item offers great flavor and great portions, but add in one of the twenty-two dipping sauces and you have yourself a ticket to FLAVORTOWN!
I have visited a few times and each time have come away very satisfied. But if you really want one of the best things you can do to help cool off from the Florida heat and satisfy any sweet tooth, the Triple Double Mint – hand-spun soft serve is the way to go! This soft serve, much thicker than a normal shake taste like a Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie with each sip.
