Walt Disney World Announces Date-Based Pricing
This week, Disney made the announcement that Walt Disney World would be switching to a date-based ticket pricing system. Beginning on October 16, Disney will roll out a new vacation planning site that prices tickets by the time of year, anticipated crowd levels and more. Guests will still be able to save money when purchasing for multiple days and can use the pricing calendars to help plan the best vacation for them. One of the biggest changes coming with this system is that multi-day tickets must be used within a limited time period whereas previously, multi-day tickets expired 14 days after their first use.
Disney Cruise Line Reveals 2020 Itineraries
On Thursday, the Disney Cruise Line announced their upcoming itineraries for the 2020 season with a livestream from Walt Disney World. After a five-year hiatus, Disney Cruise Line is heading back to Hawaii with two special sailings. Fans tuning in for the livestream were in for a treat when Tiana, Naveen, and Louis showed to announce that Disney will home port one of it’s ships in New Orleans, Louisiana! Along with those exciting changes, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy southern Caribbean sailings to Puerto Rico. Additionally throughout the year three ships will sail to the Caribbean and Bahamas from Florida; and the Disney Wonder will return to San Diego for Mexican Riviera, and Baja cruise itineraries.

The new makeup collection premiered on shopDisney on Friday and features color palettes inspired by six iconic Princesses. The series is complete with eyeshadow, cheek highlighters, lipstick, and lip glosses designed to for Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, and Tiana. Fans can purchase individual makeup essentials, color sets, or a box set featuring the most popular items in the collection. At the posting of this article, several items have already sold out, however the ColourPop makeup collection is not listed as Limited Edition, so hopefully more will be restocked soon.
Solo: A Star Wars Story Special Feature Looks at Galaxy’s Edge
This week Solo: A Star Wars Story became available on Blu-ray, and fans purchasing the film from Target enjoyed an exclusive bonus feature. A 13-minute video gives fans a brief look at the new lands coming to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. However, most importantly, the feature also focuses on the highly-anticipated Millennium Falcon attraction. The new Star Wars land will open in Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in mid to late 2019 and promises to be out of this world.
Freeform to Air Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash
With Halloween around the corner and Hocus Pocus turning 25, it just made sense to develop a television special. Premiering on October 20th, the 90-minute special will feature guest appearances by the cast and crew including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Thora Birch, Kenny Ortega, and more. Also as a rare treat for fans in the Los Angeles area, the live taping will be held this Tuesday (October 2) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Tickets are free and they’re still available!
