In late July, it was reported that Ziploc, an S.C. Johnson Company, would not only sponsor the KidCOT Fun Spots in Epcot but also Splash Mountain both in Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom.
As part of the sponsorship, guests would be given Ziploc baggies to place electronics and personal items they didn’t wish to get wet.
At the exit of the attraction, there are multiple recycling stations for the Ziploc baggies or of course given the option to keep them as souvenirs.
The two things I learned from my visit to Chickapin Hill recently is first there are only an allotment of bags given each day and often are gone by mid-morning, so if you want the souvenir or are extra concerned about your personal items getting wet, you only have a small window to get a Ziploc bag. The second thing I discovered is, not only was the sponsorship of the attraction new, but a load safety video had also been added in the queue. These videos have been slowly added on other attractions but this was is the newest (and also the cutest).
