Disney Springs kicks off this holiday season with one of my favorite Walt Disney World traditions: the Christmas Tree Trail. This year is the biggest yet with 27 themed trees, including five new ones, making for a great fun family photo night at the Springs.
Each of the trees has a special theme ranging from the birthday couple Mickey & Minnie to the new Haunted Mansion and Star Wars trees. One of the great synergy pieces is each of the specific themed trees has a small display featuring holiday ornaments available for purchase at the Disney’s Days of Christmas store at the exit of the trail to inspire you to create your own special tree.
As you make your way through the trial, you also come upon a snack area with some fun holiday flavored cotton candy and of course this is the home of Santa’s Chalet. But my favorite addition to this year’s Tree Trail are some of the fun posters along the path that, in some cases, play off the nearest tree or just are fun throw backs to other Disney properties.
The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail is open daily from 11am to 11pm with the entrance near Earl of Sandwich in the Marketplace.
