Prepare to set sail for world-class craft beers and tasty brewpub-style dishes! Ballast Point Brewing Company is now open at Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District, with seven thousand square feet of restaurant space, including an open-air bar and second-level outdoor patio with a terrific view of the shopping area below.
Last week, Ballast Point held a grand opening media event and ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Disneyland Resort Ambassador Justin Rapp, Downtown Disney general manager Brent Davies, president of Constellation Brands' craft and specialty division Ben Dollard and more as they brought out the crew and cranked the engine up to full speed ahead before welcoming guests into the sure-to-be-popular new location.

After the opening ceremony, invited media were welcomed to try out some of the food and beverage options, in addition to wandering through the space and checking out the excellent nautical-themed design. There are even a few nods to Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean and, perhaps most surprisingly, a swashbuckling Build-a-Bear hanging out in the rafters as a reference to one of this structure’s previous inhabitants.

In addition to the impressive decor, Ballast Point’s Disneyland Resort location will be serving up limited-edition beers crafted on-site using a unique three-barrel brewing system which guests can see right from the dining area and bar. Plus, a hundred taps deliver more than fifty varieties of high-quality brews. Food offerings range from burgers to salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, tacos, nachos, and desserts. A “Little Explorer” kids’ menu makes this spot accessible to younger family members, and don’t forget to visit the gift shop on your way out for a fun assortment of Ballast Point merchandise, accessories, and apparel.
