NBA stars and huge Disney fans Brook and Robin Lopez of the Milwaukee Bucks stopped by the NBA Experience at Disney Springs today to celebrate Halloween by meeting with guests and passing out some candy.
The 7-foot-tall twin brothers from California grew up as big Disney fans and were happy to be spending Halloween at the recently opened NBA Experience at Walt Disney World. This was Robin’s first time attending the attraction, but Brook was in attendance for the venue’s grand opening back in August.
The two of them met with some younger guests on the first floor of the NBA Experience and passed out some special Halloween treats from their Mickey-shaped baskets.
They then stepped into the ‘Players’ exhibit, designed to look like an NBA or WNBA lockerroom, complete with touch screens displaying information on any team you want to see, to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans.
The NBA stars drew quite a crowd of fans looking to meet them and they did not disappoint. Everyone who lined up got the chance to get a photo and autograph. The players signed everything from photos to Mickey Funko Pop! figures.
Once they had signed autographs for everyone, they made their way upstairs to check out some of the fun the NBA Experience has to offer. The brothers tried their luck at the ‘Slingshot,’ though some of the younger guests bested them there.
They then finished up with the ‘Dunk’ activity station, where guests had a slightly harder time hanging with the NBA stars.
The NBA Experience is open now at Disney Springs and tickets are available here.
