What do you get when you mix a million Christmas light and delightful decorations, sweet and savory holiday treats, unique Christmas merchandise, holiday shows, and joyful meet and greets with old and new friends? You get Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Tampa.
Living in central Florida, I have attended the holiday events at both Disney and Universal for several years. However, this was the first year I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy an evening of some holiday cheer hosted by Busch Gardens in Tampa and I was pleasantly surprised by what a delightful event this is. There is something for everyone and, even though I was there from 4:00 pm until almost 10:00 pm, I still didn’t see or do everything.
Christmas Town is open now through January 6th, 2020 daily from 4:00 pm to park close. Christmas Town is included in the price of standard park admission or with an annual pass.
Christmas Town events are spread throughout Busch Gardens
Welcome to Christmas Town!
One of the many holiday displays
One of my favorite experiences. The sing-along train takes you around the park leaving the station about every 15 minutes. You’ll find yourself having a great time singing to some all-time favorite Christmas songs as the train takes you through the park.
The sing-along train. One of many of the fun meet and greets you’ll find in the park.
If you collect figures from the classic Mold-A-Matic, there’s even a special Santa figure available.
Lots of fun Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer merchandise.
One of my personal favorites.
Meet some of your favorite Sesame Street friends.
In the Christmas Town Village, you’ll find 10 different cabins with both sweet and savory treetops as well as some unique holiday beverages.
