On March 4, 2020, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will debut the first ever ride through attraction to star Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway starts with a screening of a film short, but quickly turns into a madcap adventure as guests are pulled into the animated movie!
Of course with an adventure full of silly fun and crazy hijinks, guests will want to commemorate their experience with shirts, plush, and other collectible items. Laughing Place was able to get a sneak peek at the merchandise items coming soon and we wanted to share them with you. Let’s take a look:
Runaway Railway Shirts
These attraction shirts are cute and colorful! Two of the designs even reference the original song “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” written for the ride.
Plush and Wishables
Fans can go home with Runaway Railway Mickey and Minnie plush or they can purchase Disney Parks Wishables.
It looks like the micro plush Wishables collection will feature songbirds, the Runaway Railway train engine, Mickey and Minnie out for a drive, and a Conductor Goofy. Daisy Duck is also featured on the Wishables packaging, so maybe she’ll be part of the collection too!
Runaway Railway Train
It looks like we’ve got the choice of a train mug, figurine, and a really cute conductor’s whistle. We’re “on board” with these items!
Headwear
Hmmm. Conductor’s hat or Mickey and Minnie Ear headbands? How about all three!
Bird Pouch
We love Disney-themed anything and we’re all about this cute pouch! Featuring an adorable orange bird (no, not that Orange Bird) from the new ride, this cheery accessory will be perfect for all your park adventures.
Pins and Ornament
In addition to a train ornament, Disney has designed three pin styles that collectors will love.
MagicBands
Yes, there will be collector’s MagicBands themed to the ride! One style looks like the theater marquee (likely Passholder Exclusive) and the other like an animated still frame.
ICYMI:
- While he didn’t get to experience the ride, Jeremiah had the chance to enjoy a sneak preview of the first part of the attraction.
