Bundled in an attractive cardboard display, you’re able to feel just how soft the minky fleece blanket is before you buy it. The side of the box shows you exactly what’s in the box, a mermaid fin that looks just like Ariel’s. If you’re trying to recreate the look on the box, many companies sell shirts with mermaid seashells on them.
The mermaid tail has several fun textures for kids, with the waistband featuring raised bumps. The main body of the fin features shimmery dots that create the illusion of scales. The fabric of the fin matches that of the waist, but without the raised dots.
It’s true that there are a lot of mermaid tail blankets on the market, which is how Blankie Tails got their start, but this is the only officially licensed Ariel tail on the market and several added accents make it obvious who this belongs to. A purple embroidered silhouette of Ariel is on the upper right side of the tail.
