Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is currently offering a wide variety of fantastic flavors and even more tasty beverage options during their Bier Fest event right now. I was lucky enough to be invited out to experience the event and sample some of the options they’re offering around the park,
Busch Gardens’ Bier Fest consists of 20 different locations with special offerings, nine of which offer food. The remaining locations offer a variety of beverage, and it’s not all just beer. There are plenty of cocktails, ciders and seltzers for guests to enjoy as well.
Of course, if you want the full experience, you can pair the plates with some complimentary beers. We got to try the Hot Chicken Slider and a Frost Proof from Cigar City Brewing. We also paired the Sam Adams Oktoberfest Braised Short Ribs with, fittingly, a Sam Adams Oktoberfest (pictured above).

Another one of the best dishes at the event was the Pepper Smoked Chopped Brisket Poutine, which was available at the Pub Grub booth.

The top choice of the day was also found at the Pub Grub booth and it was the Bison Beef Slider, which we paired with a Tangerine Splash from Florida Avenue Brewing.

All of the special offerings don’t come just from temporary booths. Fan-favorite locations like the Serengeti Overlook Bar offer some special options for the Bier Fest, including Yuengling Racing Eagle and a Graffiti Orange Creamsicle Wheat.

Of course, no food festival would be complete without some delicious desserts. We got to sample the Fresh Mango and Dragon’s Milk Stout Soft Serve, Tennessee Fire Whiskey Beignets and the Nicolas Bavarian Donut Holes.

The best dessert of the day though was the Bless Your Heart PB & Nutella Cupcake, which comes as a two-pack in a convenient plastic case that allows you to take it home. This was just one of the four delicious cupcakes they offer at the event.

The best way to enjoy Bier Fest at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is with a food & beverage sampler lanyard. For $49.99, guests can sample eight of the special offerings. For $64.99, guests can sample 12 of the special offerings. Pass members can take advantage of a special offer that allows them to get a 15-item sampler for the price of the 12-item sampler.

Bier Fest runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now through October 31. Whether you want to try just a couple of these offerings or go for a sampler lanyard, this event is absolutely worth checking out.
