FOX has released the first artwork for the upcoming animated series Krapopolis and revealed the principal voice cast. just announced the principal voice cast.
What’s Happening:
- FOX’s newest animated series, Krapopolis, is set to premiere in 2022 and the network released the first artwork ahead of their slate of presentations at the TCA Summer Press Tour.
- Krapopolis is created by Emmy-winner Dan Harmon (Community, Rick & Morty) and is part of an animation development deal the creator has with FOX.
- Jordan Young (Drawn Together, Bojack Horseman) is on board as showrunner and executive producer.
- Krapopolis is set in mythical ancient Greece and follows a family of humans, gods, and monsters trying to run one of the world’s first cities.
- Created in-house by FOX Entertainment as the first series order through FOX’s broadcast direct model, Krapopolis is being animated by Bento Box Entertainment.
- Krapopolis breaks ground by being the first-ever animated series curated entirely on the Blockchain with a dedicated marketplace to sell digital goods, including NFTs of character and background art and tokens that reward super fans with social experiences.
- An NFT of the Krapopolis cast image is minted on the Eluvio content blockchain with token metadata.

- Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) as Tyrannis, the mortal son of a goddess and King of Krapopolis.
- Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) as Deliria, the goddess of self-destruction and mother of Tyrannis.
- Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows) as Shlub, a mantitaur (a cross between a manticore and a centaur) who is Tyrannis’ freeloading father.
- Pam Murphy (Mapleworth Murders) as Stupendous, Deliria’s daughter and Tyranus’ half-sister whose father is a cyclops.
- Duncan Trussell (The Midnight Gospel) as Hippocampus, Shlubs other son and Tyranus’ half-brother whose mother is a mermaid.
