Marvel Comics’ “X-Manhunt” Trailer Previews a New Mutant Conflict

Marvel Comics has released a new trailer for the upcoming X-Men crossover event, X-Manhunt, as the X-Men battle over the fate of an escaped Professor X.

What’s Happening:

The eight-issue crossover, taking place throughout March releases, will be a part of all of the current ongoing X-Men related titles, including Uncanny X-Men, NYK, Storm, X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force and Exceptional X-Men, and then conclude in the X-Manhunt Omega double-sized one-shot.
The storyline follows what occurs when Professor X breaks out of Graymalkin Prison, “sowing division and discord among the different mutant factions.” As the story continues, we’ll learn exactly why Charles Xavier has gone on the run in the first place and which of his pupils will work to protect him, recapture him, or kill him.
In the trailer, we see Cyclops and Storm on different sides of the conflict, with Storm sporting her new Vibranium armor she will receive in the midst of the crossover.
